DESCRIPTION:In honor of the annual Blessing of the Animals Sunday\, Susan Millard Schwarz will present a debut performance of the commissioned work by Nicholas Fink\, entitled “The Lamb” at Advent Evangelical Lutheran Church.  The piece for mezzo soprano and piano is a setting of William Blake’s poem by the same title. \nThe song is offered as a meditation to precede the church’s annual Blessing of the Animals event\, which will take place that afternoon at 4 pm.
